Announcing the Precisionsmith line of Fretz Hammers!

These tiny hammers are intended just for wire. They are about one third the size of the jewelry line of hammer heads
with the handles being almost as long but significantly thinner. They are the perfect solution for the surface area of wire.
At this point they are available in the planishing hammer, large embossing hammer,
small embossing hammer, narrow raising hammer, wide raising hammer and the long awaited for riveting hammer!

The two sides of this hammer work in tandem with one another. The domed side will spread the wire leaving a slight texture. The plastic side will strengthen the metal without changing the shape.

This hammer creates two different sizes of distressed marks. Both are smaller than the chasing hammers on the market, making it very desirable.

This special hammer leaves very tiny distress marks thus earning the name “sand and pebble”. The most popular yet!

This raising hammer spreads the metal in two directions instead of all directions like the three above. The rectangular shape is the reason for this. When metal or wire is pounded with these, the metal will spread like rolling out dough.

Use the edge instead and you will achieve a brick like pattern or a wave pattern. When used on a round link, follow the arch of the link to get a striated effect.

For sharp lines in the wire or metal.

Rounded Narrow Raising Hammer
Built like the Narrow Raising Hammer but the end is rounded. Makes a reptile looking pattern.

Raw Silk
A linen pattern has been inscribed to the heads of the baby chasing hammer that impart a "raw silk" pattern on metal.

Circle Scale
Built like the Small Embossing Hammer but the tips are carved out to make two differnt sized circles.. Use repetatively it makes a great fishscale pattern.
